Pack Tracker is a Back Pack Software program that will track and categorize all the items you have in one or more packs. Back packs, quad packs, saddlebags, even fishing tackle boxes can be tracked using the Pack Tracker.
One question I even had to ask myself! What in the world do I need a list for, and why should I get a program specially made to track my information in my packs?
Let me answer the first one first! If you have a great memory and just one pack or box, you may not need the Pack Tracker. You could just as easily put your information into an Excel spreadsheet, or write it down someplace.
If you have multiple packs or even multiple locations where you store your camping equipment, survival gear, fishing tackle, hunting gear, packing gear, you will appreciate the Pack Tracker.
You see, I do search and rescue and I have packs on my ATV, an overnight pack I carry for hiking (and I carry it with me on my ATV. In my rear ATV pack I have 3 compartments and in one of those compartments I carry another pack, which has more compartments. I also have a fanny pack with compartments for my GPS, compass, map gear, and a few essentials.
